Suzanne spends a lot of time thinking about words. She uses them a great deal, as well. There’s an old family tale that goes something like this: When my mother picked my up after the first day of kindergarten, she asked how it went, to which I matter-of-factly replied: “She didn’t teach us to read. You said she would.”
I have been reading every since. More importantly, I have been writing. Words bring me great joy, especially when I can string them together to tell a story of adventure, of inspiration, of a fascinating or friendly encounter.
My words have appeared in offMetro, National Geographic, GOOD, CNN Travel, CBS Watch!, EuroCheapo, Marie Claire, the Matador Travel book 101 Places F*cked Up Before You Die, and others.
